Australian Railroad Group (ARG) an above rail bulk freight operator, hauls a range of commodities for Australia's primary industries and mining sectors. Each year, we rail approximately 60 millions tonnes of freight in bulk, including grain, minerals, livestock, sugar, fuel, lead, copper, sulphur and dangerous goods.
We work directly with our customers across these diverse industries to deliver solutions specifically designed to meet their needs. Because we operate the terminals as well as the trains, we're able to deliver better value and more integrated transport solutions.
Previously owned by rail consortium Wesfarmers/Genesee & Wyoming, ARG is now part of the QR group of companies. In 2006, QR merged its Queensland bulk freight operations with the ARG business in Western Australia, New South Wales and South Australia to provide a bulk service that crosses Australia. 
QR generates $3billion a year in revenue and ownes more than $7.6 billion in assets.
ARG are headquartered in Perth and operate from more than 30 depots, terminals and offices across the country, providing customers with focused rail solutions. ARG is positioned as QR's bulk freight specialist.
